3rd Thursday is a meeting for girls every 3rd thursday of the month.  Check it out this afternoon and in February.  This month we’re talking about some pretty heavy stuff… come with your toughest questions and expect some answers.

It’s officially official!   just a couple more weeks till school is out for Christmas, and of course present opening time.  It’s crazy how almost everyone in the entire world gets completely whipped into a frenzy during this time of year.  Movies, music, stores, schools, churches, everyone and everything is changed for the month of december.

Changed…   everything and everyone is changed.  Isn’t it crazy?  That without even knowing it, the world changes thousands of years later because of the birth of our Savior, Jesus.  Changed, what about you?  Does your house change for the month?  Does your schedule, your attitude, or your feelings.  I bet they do.

It’s not the music, it’s not how many times you watch ELF or A Christmas Story, it’s all because Jesus was born.  We’ll talk about that more this month.

Tonight and this month at groundzero we’re talking about what we’re supposed to do with what God gives us.  What are some things you’re grateful that God has given you?  What are somethings you’re praying God does give you?  Is there ever a time when you’re truly without something you need?  It’s time to talk about what God really gives us, and what we’re supposed to do with it..

Did you know there is actually a medical term for the “fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of your mouth”?  Yep, check this out,  you can actually be diagnosed with…”Arachibutyrophobia”.  I don’t know about you, but if people are afraid of peanut butter I think this fear thing has gotten out of hand.  Some of you probably will try to prove you’re not afraid this month by visiting the catacombs.  So get ready to talk about those things that fear you, or try to act like you have none… either way, tell us a scary story and we’ll see you wednesday…

This Wednesday is going to be historic when millions of students stand up for what they believe and pray at their school’s flagpole. groundzero is sending staff to many of the area schools to take photos and video of this historic event so that Wednesday night we can show a video of YOU praying at the pole. This wednesday night groundzero will be seeing you ‘after’ the pole. The video is just the beginning. We’ll be hearing from students just like you, we have a surprise performance by one of our students, pizza will be on the house, and we hope you dont’ get stuck forever on the velcro wall! Its all because we are celebrating the fact that you prayed at the pole. Be there at 7am, then be here at 7pm (or earlier we’ll be open by 6). See you then. . .
